Ingredients

  • 5  Organic Apples
  • 1 Large English Cucumber
  • ½ Lemon
  • 2 cups Water

Optional Add-ins

  • 1-3 inches Fresh Ginger
  • 1-3 Fresh Turmeric
  • Fresh Pineapple
  • 3-5 Celery Stalks

Instructions

  • Prepare the fruit: Remove the skin from the apple (optional). Then, slice the flesh into large chunks. Slice the cucumber into large pieces. Remove the rind from the lemon. (No need to remove the skin from the ginger or turmeric if using.)
  • Add the ingredients to a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or pitcher. Strain the pulp from the mixture to get a clear juice. (Feel free to leave the pulp if you like. It is full of fiber and nutrients.)
  • Serve in a glass with ice cubes and garnish with cucumber slices. Enjoy!
